Exclusive Interview With Farez

Farez who has released their album Persianality in 2008. They started off in Atlanta with the goal of creating revolutionary hip-hop R & B music by rapping both in Farsi and in English. Together, Milad, Hafez, and Kamyar, formed Farez and started out with a bang with their hit song "Yek Doh Seh". Alongside its popular Internet video, "Yek Doh Seh" gave Farez the buzz they needed to enter the mainstream Persian industry.
The result is a eleven song album featuring Andy & Kouros, Shahrum K, Sepideh, Shahrzad Sepanlou, Farshid Amin, Mohamad, and Mahsa. Persianality features production work from Elton Farokh Ahi (known for being an influence in the careers of Andy & Kouros, Siavash, and Mansour) as well as Tapesh TV's Alireza Amirghassemi. The rest of the work has been done almost exclusively by Farez as they've written most of all the lyrics as well as having Hafez create much of the musical beats. The first single from Persianality was "Aamar" (featuring Sepideh).

The album features work by Roma Kanyan, who has helped Shahryar with all his previous three albums.

Shahryar has recently featured a song called 'Ariyai Nejad' with Shakila.
